Calligraphy

For few days we did some quick lessons in lettering and calligraphy.  It’s one of those things I always teach, although some like it and others…not so much.

The tools are pretty simple and the whole project does not lend itself to great pictures, except for the work and it all came out quite nicely.

A nice practice page.

Just guessing, but I’m betting the students’ name is Sarah, the letters look great!

A good Edison quote, but I’m thinking the word, “don’t” should be in there, the lettering looks nice though.   On my walls, in past classrooms,  I often  have the, “we don’t know 1/10 of 1 percent about anything” quote.

More diligent practicing!

Ms. Sarah cut out her letters and put them over one of the paper marbling sheets, a great combination.

Another well made lettered page.
