Below is a nice selection of some gifs made by my graphic arts class in the fall of 2018. If I’ve typed in the wrong name, spelled it wrong, or did not put your name with the gif you made, let me know! Some of the gifs I couldn’t remember names for sure when I posted them, tell me so I can credit you!
A beautiful snow scene done by John D. I love the subtle colors he used and the speed of the snowfall to create a sense of quiet, peace, and tranquility. One of my favorite snow scenes this year.
Ms. Jones did not like her piece above so much, If I remember right, but the purple and blue fade for the sky and ground look very nice to me!
This is a shooting animation from Brayden T. I believe
Braylon S. did this small rez snow fall above, I like the blocky-ness.
Ms. Janiah did the peaceful snow fall above. I like the depth suggested by the color in the back grounds
Nice snow scene, I hope some one tell me who did this, I’m not remembering right this moment.
The above is entitled Zeus the Moose, done by the amazing Janiah! Looks like a nice use of the symmetry tool.
Great castle build by Braylon S. I like the flags being deployed at the end, the cloud movement, and the wall details.
Ms. Maleea J did this Greek Myth piece entitled, “Take It Or Leave It” I like the twirled movement at the end. Great job!
John D has done another great one, it’s entitled “Hale to the King, Baby”. Wonderfully chosen colors and the slow arc to the left really add a sense of depth to the piece.
This is a great castle build by no other than the amazing Megan P.
Another nice piece of work by Mlea J. Consider us awed.
I believe this is done by Leyla, it would make a nice game piece when she makes her first video game.
A nice impressive looking castle build by Janiah!
Arron K. did a great Poseidon here.
Dan B. Did an amazing Minotaur, with lot’s of stuff going on. Let’s see someone top that one!
Good fire and castle gifs done by the great artist J. Wilson
Gavyn did a Great castle build, with moving clouds here!
A great bit of work by the amazing Dan B. Notice how he built the castle and then leads your eye up up the front of the castle by moving the image. A very cinematic way of doing an image.
This reminds me of a movie called Why Man Creates. It was done by Saul Bass, a famous graphic designer and illustrator. Guess who Saul Bass hired to do the film and camera work on the movie?
Connor did a great castle here. I really like the detail of the pieces falling from the sky to complete the castle, the face that appears, and the color change washing up from the bottom.
Ms. Leyla S. did a nice castle!
A very professional/symmetrical looking piece done by the amazing Luke G! Looks like a lot of work and it reminds me of the old space invaders game. I like the way it loops at the end and grows back into shape-not just appearing, it makes the loop nice and smooth. If you want to see some more of his work, click here.
John D. has set a pretty high bar for every one else’s work! It’s a piece about a Bronson movie. If you want to see some more of his work, click here.
A great looking castle build by Carter C.
Great gif by the amazing John D! Not just a fire but a collection of images indicating a room at a certain time of the year. He did a lot with very little. Notice the subtle glowing and flickering of the lights on the Christmas tree and the fire in the fireplace.
I believe Luke G did this one, good torch, if only he’d draw it being held by a goblin…
I believe this is A piece by Braylon S. Nice rising fire.
Bryce did this one, “mix tape on fire”, I believe he called it. I was surprised that he would know what a mix tape is! I might still have a few.
Great explosion by Sarah A, I like the countdown!
