Some Recent Activities
STILL IN EDIT
The last few weeks have been a mixed bag of various activities.
First up is just some cut and folded Christmas ornaments. I started earlier this year with Christmas related activities because last year we had so many snow days. I think I had five weeks with no Monday classes!
She made this for me to hang up in my room. I’m very lucky to have so many nice students make things for me to hang up!
All the ones above are folded cat and/or dog origami shapes. Easy to make and fun to add details to.
This is a k child and the idea that day was to draw and fold a tab to make the paper stand up. I just wanted them to understand flat and not flat-2-d and 3-d.
Another proud and happy student with a folded and colored hat.
Here’s a nice dalmatian. I wonder if I asked him to count the dots?
This little folded dog shape has a string through it to hang it up. I’m not sure why but many young students like to punch a hole and run string through it.
A nice selection of dogs with bows
Dogs on a string, she really loved doing that, I remember.
A small dog with a parent dog I believe was the story here.
She stretched out the origami model to make the face a bit different. I happiest when the make variations and try to invent.
Next is modular paper constructions.
