Soda Straws and Watercolors

Another quick,  some might say” weak” educationally project.  You basically just spatter the paper with drops of watercolor and then blow the watercolors around.  You could use this to teach the vocabulary word of chaos,but mostly it’s just a fun project.  I have had students use the completed work as background for calligraphy.  The video should give you an idea as to the process.

Here you can see a student using a soda straw to blow the paint around.  Pretty straight up stuff.
